social action professionals.
projects, we stand out for transparency, quality,
and innovation.

About us
We are a team of five entities dedicated to creating an innovative model of in-home family therapy.
Our mission is to provide social action professionals with a solid foundation for effective home interventions. Through the stages of theoretical design, practical implementation, and specialized training, we aim to enhance both professional development and the quality of life of the families involved.

Hedera’s objectives are structured along two lines: the construction of a model for in-home family therapeutic intervention and the development of training for professionals in the model for their proper qualification.
Develop an in-home family therapy model to impact family relational health, especially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Conceptualize and promote a therapeutic intervention that simultaneously treats the relational health of the entire family and each of its members.
Design and implement the in-home family therapy model as a complementary service to standard public mental health services as well as public social services, with the aim of adding a therapeutic resource that promotes the relational health of parents so they can develop their ability to meet the health and development needs of their children.
Evaluate the constructed model through pilot experiences in the different partner countries of the project by collecting and analyzing evidence, under the coordination of experts in the field of research, with the aim of implementing improvements in the model.
Build a training proposal aimed at family therapy and social action professionals that provides them with the knowledge, tools, and techniques of the evaluated model for proper therapeutic practice at home.
Implement the constructed training proposal to professionals both in online and face-to-face actions.
Evaluate the training proposal through the realization of different training meetings in both online and face-to-face modalities.
Carry out a timed communication plan throughout the project.
Define the contents of dissemination both on social networks and on the web with the aim of developing the project with total transparency.
Plan the different events, having a reference briefing developed among the partners and adapting it to the idiosyncrasies of each country.
Disseminate and share knowledge, experiences, and the established model, as well as training appropriate to the different sociocultural contexts of the countries that are part of the partnership, through each of the planned communication actions.
Establish the bases to give continuity and exploit the project once the three years of duration are completed.
Progress
Management
Production of management documents and the quality plan at the start of the project; process and quality reports; periodic reports to the agency; results evaluation; and the organization of the various in-person and remote meetings of the project.
Communication
Project dissemination actions, with the creation of a dissemination plan, a graphic charter, and a transparency website at the beginning of the project; the execution of different social media campaigns at the end of each project phase; the exploitation of results activities; and the final dissemination events.
Construction of the in-home family therapy model and the design of the intervention and applied research.
Development
Implementation of the model developed, with a succession of actions in 3 phases (initial, intermediate, and final) involving intervention with families, application of questionnaires and data collection instruments, and data analysis. In the intermediate phase, an adjustment in the model is also planned, and at the end of the work package, the preparation of the final document of the model (once implemented and evaluated) is envisaged.
Implementation
Construction and implementation of training aimed at professionals in the family intervention model developed and evaluated in the previous work packages. It includes the activities of designing the training and the teaching-learning resources, as well as the realization of different training events (online and in-person).
