The Hedera Model
The Hedera Model places relational health at the center of family therapeutic intervention. It is built on three dimensions that reinforce each other: cognitive health, relational health, and emotional health. These three elements are promoted at every phase of the therapeutic process: framing, diagnosis, intervention, and closure.
As a distinguishing feature, it incorporates the home as a context for intervention, combined with the consultation space, allowing for a more ecological and personalized fit to each family’s reality.
The theoretical foundations of this model are relational-systemic theory, developmental psychology, attachment theory, applied neuroscience, and the trauma perspective.
