From January 22 to 24, the team of the European project Hedera traveled to Bayonne (France) to hold its third in-person meeting. During three intense days of work at the offices of partner organization Caminante, key meetings were held to continue advancing the development of this innovative model of home-based family therapy.

A meaningful visit to share, learn and move forward

The meeting in Bayonne was an opportunity to deepen the practical implementation of the Hedera model, strengthen partnerships, and define the project’s next milestones. The program included:

▪️ A visit to Caminante’s services and programs, with a special focus on its mother-child unit, which allowed participants to see firsthand the dynamics of family intervention in the French context.

▪️ The presentation of the first results report on the implementation of the home-based family therapy model — a key tool to assess the impact of the actions carried out so far.

▪️ A space to share practical experiences, discuss therapeutic techniques, and address the challenges and lessons learned from the initial implementation phases.

▪️ A joint definition of the next steps in the project, including dissemination and awareness-raising strategies to expand the model to new professional and territorial contexts.

Hedera: an innovative model serving social intervention

Hedera is an Erasmus+ project that brings together organizations from different countries with the aim of designing a home-based family therapy model that provides social professionals with effective tools to intervene directly in the family environment. This model promotes a more human, close, and sustainable approach to support.

Walking together towards change

This meeting in Bayonne has strengthened international cooperation among partner organizations, reinforcing a networked approach that is essential to building solid and transferable proposals. The collective commitment and diversity of professional perspectives continue to drive Hedera’s progress.
